 Dear Colleagues,

 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr.Christopher Williams.
Chris passed away peacefully at the age of 83 at his home in Burnaby. Chris Williams
was the father of Con Williams and the grandfather of 
Matt.
He was a true pioneer
in the saw maintenance industry.

Christopher Williams was born in Wales on November 6,  1921.   He moved to London at the age of 13 and 8 months to start as an apprentice machinist.  he spent the war years in London and in 1946 started his journey to travel around the world .  While in Vancouver   he met and married his wife Margaret( 1927- 1999)and settle to a life in Burnaby.   Chris and Marg built the family business of Williams and White together working side by side.   He was so proud that it has remained a family business for the three generations.  He loved fishing and travel and lived a life that was more than he could have ever dreamed. He was a proud member of the Burnaby Kingsway Rotary Club, and a  Paul Harris Fellow.   He will be missed by his son Conrad and daughter Denalda and grandchildren Matthew(Maria) and Justin . Sister Betty King ( Jack) and sister in law Denalda Soyama.  The family wishes to thank Chris’s caregivers Val , Al and Helga for making his last years with Alzheimer’s so comfortable.
