The membership of the BC Saw Filers' Association is made up of a dedicated and progressive group of filers who stress cooperation and education. This non-profit society was founded over 57 years ago to promote the continuing education of its members.
Secrecy had existed within our trade for many years and our aim was, and still is, to work toward removing this from the trade. Our educational programs, annual trade show and conference, and this web site serve to keep our members abreast of the latest developments in sawing technology. The BCSFA, unlike large trade organizations, is a regional grass-roots fraternity, with no political or union affiliations. Each year we provide a forum for Filers and Industry Experts to get together to exchange technology and ideas in an effort to improve our skills as Saw Filers and in turn increase profits. Through this forum, the industries’ expert come away with new ideas on which direction technology should go. Board of Directors, BC Saw Filers' Association |
